How to request deletion

1. Email admin@lightningquest.net from the address registered to your CXL account, using the subject “CXL Games data deletion request.”
2. Tell us which CXL account is involved and whether you want the full account, a Creator Program submission, or particular connected-service data removed.
3. We will verify that the account is yours, review the records, and explain what can be deleted and what must be retained. If you no longer have access to the registered email, say so and we will offer another way to verify ownership.

Do not send us your password, full payment credentials, or identity documents in your first message. We respond within the time required by applicable law.

What happens to the data

An eligible request may cover profile and session information, linked-account records, Creator Program profiles and submissions, and article-view hashes tied to deleted submissions. Deletion can remove access to purchase history or unspent loyalty points, so pending orders, withdrawals, and disputes must be reviewed first. We may keep a minimal record of the request and retain transaction or security records for a continuing purpose or legal requirement. Supporting purchase and accounting records may need to remain for at least six years from the end of the last relevant tax year where Canadian tax-record rules apply, and longer if another obligation or unresolved dispute requires it.

CXL does not currently have a self-service deletion button or a general automatic purge. Information not removed through a verified request or manual review may remain. See our privacy policy for more detail.

Linked games and connected platforms

A CXL deletion does not delete separate Lightning Miner, Lightning Quest, TRX Miner, Crypto Colony, CryptoCrops, or other linked-game accounts; request deletion from those services separately. You can also revoke a connected Discord account in Discord. Instagram and Facebook Page connections are not live yet. If introduced, you will be able to revoke CXL access through Meta settings and request removal of CXL-held Meta data at the email above.

Article visitors

The optional CXL Creator article tracker sets no cookie and does not store raw IP addresses in its article-view table. Its daily hash is not linked to a CXL visitor account, so an email address alone may not identify a particular visit. If you have a question about a visit, email us with the article URL and date. The article publisher separately manages information collected on its own site.
